A motorised pergola works by retracting a fabric awning or PVC membrane stretched over an aluminium frame, driven by a motor. The cover opens or closes at the touch of a button, and can be set to respond automatically to wind and rain sensors. Metalux handles the whole build, from frame manufacturing to motor installation.
Where is it used?
The system is used for sun protection on restaurant and cafe terraces, hotel outdoor areas, villa gardens, and the outdoor seating areas of commercial venues.

Things to consider
