Bioclimatic Pergola on an Open Terrace
Example application: a bioclimatic pergola whose rotating louvres control sunlight and ventilation.
In this example application, an open terrace becomes a living space usable all year round with a bioclimatic pergola. By adjusting their angle, the aluminium louvres filter sunlight and let air through; when closed, they act as a roof against rain.
Highlights
- Motorised rotating louvres with remote control
- Rainwater drainage integrated into the posts
- Optional lighting and side enclosures
The pergola size, post layout and drainage detail are defined during the survey according to the terrace.
