Composite Facade Cladding for an Industrial Building
Example application: a ventilated aluminium composite facade installed on a substructure.

Facade Systems
Aluminium composite panels mounted on a support substructure as a ventilated facade cladding system.
Composite facade cladding is built from panels with a polymer core sandwiched between two aluminium face sheets, fixed to the building facade on a support substructure. The air gap left between the panel and the wall contributes to a ventilated facade, helping to balance moisture and heat. Metalux measures, manufactures and installs both the substructure and the panels with its own team.
The system suits residential and commercial building facades, the renovation of existing exteriors, and the identity facades of retail and office buildings.
Substructure anchor points are engineered to suit the wall construction and local wind load. Panel joint gaps are designed to allow for thermal expansion. Fire-safety requirements should be assessed per project according to building height and facade area.
