Sliding Door Track, Roller and Seal Maintenance
Sliding door maintenance keeps tracks, rollers and seals working smoothly. We explain what to check regularly and when to get professional help.

Aluminium Door & Window Systems
Aluminium sliding systems built with thermally broken profiles for openings where energy efficiency matters.
Thermally insulated sliding systems are sliding joinery solutions developed to reduce heat transfer between the interior and exterior through the thermal breaks between the aluminium profiles. They provide both comfort and durability on large glass surfaces. They can be applied with a standard sliding or lift-and-slide mechanism, and can be adapted to the project with different track and sash arrangements.
Where is it used?
It is preferred in villas and houses, at balcony and terrace openings, in wide facade openings, and in door and window applications where thermal insulation is important.
Advantages
- Thanks to its thermal-break profile structure, it provides higher thermal insulation than standard non-insulated sliding systems.
- Can be applied with a standard sliding or lift-and-slide mechanism.
- Allows large and tall glass sashes to be used.
- Can be adapted to different openings with single, double or triple-track frame options.
- Can be fitted together with insect screens and different threshold solutions.
Points to consider
Sash size, glass weight, wind load and the mechanism to be used should be determined according to the project conditions. For large openings, suitably reinforced profiles and the correct choice of accessories are important for the long service life of the system.
