Folding Glass Doors for a Poolside Villa
Example application: fully opening folding glass doors connecting the living room with the pool terrace.
This example application shows how folding glass doors can be used in a living space facing a pool terrace. When the sashes are stacked to one side, the living room and terrace become a single space; when closed, the wide glazed surface brings the view inside.
Highlights
- Multi-sash folding system across a wide opening
- Thermally broken profiles and double glazing
- Low threshold detail on the pool side, easy to keep clean
In projects like this, the number of sashes, stacking direction and threshold detail are defined from the measurements taken during the site survey.
